DAVOS, Switzerland – SkyBridge Capital co-founder Anthony Scaramucci said that he has sold the firm just days before he is expected to join the incoming Trump administration. “I sold my firm today,” he said at the World Economic Forum, before correcting himself because of the time difference with New York. “Well, almost sold. By noon,” he said. SkyBridge is a fund of hedge funds, meaning it invests in other funds. It was founded in 2005 by Scaramucci and has about $12 billion in assets under management. President-elect Donald Trump last week named Scaramucci as an assistant to the president. Scaramucci served as an advisor to Trump during his campaign and had said earlier this month that he had received bids for SkyBridge.
